Parent and Tot 1 (Starfish)
Spend quality time with your child while you both have fun and learn and socialize. Through structured in-water interaction between parent and child, we stress the importance of play in developing water-positive attitudes and skills. We provide Lifesaving Society Water Smart tips on keeping your child safe in any aquatic setting. Certified instructors provide guidance and answers to your questions.
Parent & Tot 1 (Starfish)
- This program is customized for babies between the ages of 4-12 months.
- Parents and their child will explore different movements and get familiar with being in the water, with parents learning how to safely enter, exit and hold their child in the water.

We do not run children’s group lessons during the summer session due to the volume of children’s summer camp programing.

Important Notes
- Refunds or credits for missed private/semi-private or group lessons will not be provided.
- Make-up lessons can not be arranged, and substitute (non-registered) swimmers are not permitted.
- Please arrive (10-15) minutes before the start of the class and proceed to the Welcome Centre Desk to check-in before going to the pool-deck.
- There will be several showers available for brief usage.
- The main locker rooms will be available and some lockers are available for day use.
- Bringing clothes & valuables to the pool deck in a gym-bag is recommended.
- Includes Lot 5 Parking.
- Registration is required in advance and space is limited.
- The Pool Gallery is available for parent/guardians.
