Junior Ravens Karate (Gōjū-ryū)
Our Junior Ravens Karate program is low risk with non-combative classes designed for beginners or children who want to return to the sport, focusing on discipline, coordination and confidence. Traditional Gōjū-ryū Karate is one of the main traditional Okinawan styles of karate, featuring a combination of hard and soft techniques.
Karate (Gōjū-ryū)
- Work on gross, fine and complex motor skills that complement the many stages of development through drills and exercises
- Developing physical and mental strength, helping to lay the groundwork for a healthy lifestyle in the future.

Kata
- The detailed choreographed patterns of movements
- The basic goal of kata is to preserve and transmit proven techniques and to practice self-defense
- By practicing in a repetitive manner the learner develops the ability to execute techniques and movements in a natural, reflex-like manner.

- Must be 8 – 14 years old
