League Official/Scorekeeper

Refereeing or scorekeeping league games
Providing a welcoming and friendly atmosphere to all league players
Monitoring of facility where the league is taking place, including ensuring patron safety;
Enforcing facility standards for all league participants;
Maintaining cleanliness of the facilities where league is operating;
Providing access control to the leagues by performing ID checks and ensuring players are on the provided team lists
Collecting rosters and waivers from all teams as required
Providing First Aid care in cases of emergency in the Ravens Nest, Fieldhouse, outdoor turf fields, Norm Fenn Gym or other areas of the Athletics Complex if called upon to do so;
Set up and take down in intramural equipment (nets, dividers, goals, safety curtains)
Distribution of league t-shirts as required by coordinator
Accurate recording of game results, staff hours worked, disciplinary issues
Attending training meetings as required
Provision of written reports in serious incidents
Collecting and returning league binders and equipment to cage in intramural office (IH 1430)
Helping staff in other areas to ensure that playing facilities are available and vacated at scheduled times
Any other duties as required

Knowledge and experience (playing or officiating/scorekeeping) in the at least one of the sports offered:
- Ball Hockey
- Basketball
- Dodgeball
- Flag Football
- Ice Hockey (timekeeper)
- Soccer
- Ultimate
- Volleyball
Oral/Written Communication Skills
Punctuality/time management
First Aid/CPR Certification (must be certified within 3 months of job start date)
